One of my craft projects has been on hold for pretty much the entire summer. I got caught up in being busy—any excuse you can think of, I was probably using it. The front cover was finished before summer, but I couldn’t come up with a design for the back cover.

Finally, I decided to stitch a quote, and I chose this one:

“The bad news is time flies. The good news is you are the pilot.”

I love that quote. The last ten years went by in the blink of an eye, and while I’ve had accomplishments, I didn’t like the feeling of time passing so quickly. so next ten years, starting this year already…. I want to keep this in mind every time I quick journal writing on this diary.
So, I’m going to enjoy stitching the quote like a collage, adding different materials along the way.

I want to make this stitching time part of my daily routine—just like time flies, bit by bit. My mental block has been holding back all the projects I have in mind, and not using my hands is neither healthy nor helpful.

So, I’m working on it and will keep showing up!
I’ll definitely show you the whole thing once it’s finished, so no worries! I can’t wait to share it with you!
